Avocado Toast | 5 Minute Snack


INGREDIENTS
.
2 slices of bread [toasted]
1 ripe avocado
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teasppon of ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes 
1/2 lemon slice


Hello and welcome to Food with Feyi!!! Here’s the thing, I love food but I’m not a huge fan of cooking and baking (pretty much anything involving the kitchen). This summer, I made it a mission to get out of my comfort zone and try out family recipes and even recipes I’ve seen online. That’s why ladies and gentlemen, I bring you my first ever food post! Today, we are making avocado toast. I’ve had this numerous times but made it only a couple. This is super easy and I don’t really consider this “cooking” but I have to start somewhere. Baby steps. We will take it one post at a time. Okay, let’s begin!



STEP 1: 
Slice the avocado in half. Scoop it and put it in a bowl.

STEP 2: 
Mix, mix, mix! I like mine to be a little chunky. If you don’t like chunks then mix until you are pleased.




STEP 3:
Squeeze a couple drops of lemon into the mixed avocado. Lemon helps bring out the flavor of the other spices. Some people use olive oil but it’s up to you.

STEP 4: 
Spread the mixed avocado on your toast then lightly add your salt, ground pepper & red pepper flakes. I always go crazy with the pepper. I love spicy food!
