Lazy Days

My weekend is winding down and I had a vey relaxed one. Yesterday was Nigerian’s Independence day. I hope all my fellow Nigerians had a lovely day of celebration. I had dinner with friends. We talked about the reasons we love our country and how there is still a lot for Nigeria to accomplish to reach her full potential. Then we played afrobeats and danced till 2am. I get tired super easily but I powered through and it was a great!

I wore this outfit last Thursday. I call this my lazy-day-can’t-really-be-bothered-look. If I have to leave my apartment and be an “active member of society” when I would rather be in bed and catching up on Quantico. My go-to lazy day outfit is something oversized, a hat and some sneakers. Lazy days are the best! The feeling of having no obligations and your schedule is completely free. Once, I was done with classes on Thursday this was the best outfit to transition into sweats and just chill. How do you spend your lazy days?

My laptop, a huge cup of tea, and a ton of chocolate. I wish everyday could be a lazy day.
