The leaves begin to fall and the trees are in gorgeous shades orange, red, and yellow. My inner basic girl comes alive. I fill up on pumpkin spice lattes and I wear every single plaid and tartan piece of clothing I own. I wrote a poem 4 years ago and I think it is only fair I share it with you lovely people of the blogosphere. Brace yourself it is very cheesy, here it is;
They fall in sunset orange , blood red, mustard yellow
Flare like a fresh fire burning through the forest meadow
Beauty slowly dying away
But to return again, someday
Bursting colors of the autumn leaves
Soon comes winter and autumn sure to leave
I know, I know… Feyi of 4 years ago is still as melodramatic and “in her feelings” as she is today. What can I say? I haven’t changed that much. What do you guys think of Fall? As someone who lives for layering and cozy clothing, Fall weather is my oasis. This outfit is my go-to fall uniform. Nothing beats a denim jacket, a comfy sweater, a pair of jeggings, sneakers and an oversize scarf that might as well be a blanket.
