You’ve graduated or are about to graduate. Yay, congratulations!!! We could talk about what the future holds? What your plans are for life after college? But let’s be honest, we all hate talking about that and hearing the dreadful question, “So, what’s next?”. Trust me, I know the feeling. Instead of dwelling on the mini panic attack I get when people ask me about my future plans (which are still in the development stages, VERY early development stages) let’s talk about your graduation dress. I know, random. But, hey! What better way to avoid real life responsibilities than talking about clothes.
What I am about to tell you does not only apply for graduation dresses but any formal dress, you got for a special occasion. That dress you thought you would only wear once. A-ha! That is where you are wrong. As you can see from my outfit, you can turn your graduation dress hanging in your closet collecting dust into an everyday casual look. The trick is layering! Throwing a denim jacket or an oversized sweater over your dress instantly gives the whole outfit a relaxed feel. Add on your favorite pair of sneakers and you are good to go. It is honestly that simple! I graduate in December and once I finally buy my graduation dress (procrastinating per usual), I will definitely be recreating this.
