Today, I am introducing a new segment on my blog called Marveling Mind Munches. I want to start exploring more restaurants and yummy spots in Atlanta. In the future, I might branch out to neighboring cities and towns. I love trying out new dishes. I am not a fan of ordering the same thing over and over again. That's why I wanted to start this series on my blog. I will also share my experience in my weekly vlogs and on my Instagram.
My first spot for this series is Victory Sandwich Bar. During my lunch break, I met up with Ashley. We went to their location in Decatur and both loved the vibe right away. They have indoor and outdoor sitting, due to the times we are in, it is great to have the options. All their sitting is spaced out and sectioned off. I think what really got my attention was all the beautiful plants. If you know me you know I love me a good greenery display, exhibit A.
Okay, okay... enough about the decor. What about the food? Yes, let's get into it! I ordered the Porkemon sandwich and to be honest, I only got that sandwich because it reminded me of Pokemon, which I think is the point. I'm on to you, Victory Sandwich Bar... very clever. The Porkemon sandwich consists of Korean bbq smoked pork, soy-ginger slaw in between a toasted bun. Simply put, it was delightful! It was also $5, which is not bad for a sandwich. The portions are not big and I could have definitely had another one to fill me up. Overall, Victory Sandwich Bar was victorious. Teehee, see what I did there? I highly recommend you check them out. I do not drink but I also heard they have amazing alcoholic beverages. So, grab a drink with your sandwich!
